Made Loud On Purpose is the trading name of Harry Rose, a sole trader based in London, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use madeloudonpurpose.com or contact us, why we collect it, what we do with it, and what rights you have over it.
When you use our contact form, we collect the information you choose to give us. That is your name, your email address, your channel or website URL, and whatever you write in the message field.
When you email us directly, we hold the contents of that email and your email address.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records limited technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you viewed. This happens on almost every website and is used to keep the site running and secure.
We do not run analytics or tracking on this site. We do not collect special category data, we do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not buy personal data from third parties.
Replying to your enquiry and discussing potential work
Keeping records of projects, quotes and correspondence
Meeting tax and accounting obligations
Keeping the site secure and working
We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not use it for profiling.
We will not send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.
This site uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function and stay secure. These do not require your consent and cannot be used to identify you. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any other form of tracking. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf:
▪ Framer — website hosting and contact form delivery
▪ Google Workspace — our business email
We may also share information with our professional advisers, such as an accountant, where necessary to run the business, and we may disclose information if we are legally required to, for example in response to a court order. Each of our providers is bound by contract to protect your information and to use it only on our instructions.
Some of our service providers are based outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where information is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or a UK adequacy decision.
▪ Enquiries that do not become projects — up to 12 months, then deleted
▪ Client project records and correspondence — for the duration of the project and 6 years afterwards, to meet tax and accounting requirements
▪ Server logs — as retained by our hosting provider, typically a short period
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
▪ Access the personal information we hold about you
▪ Correct information that is wrong or incomplete
▪ Erase your information in certain circumstances
▪ Restrict how we use your information
▪ Object to us using your information where we rely on legitimate interests
▪ Portability — receive certain information in a transferable format
▪ Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office:
